PANTUG, the Philadelphia Area Network Technologies User Group, deals with technologies in the corporate environment, and even some home topics.  Essentially PANTUG covers a wide range of topics for IT professionals; from operating systems, databases, security and networking to wireless, programming and web technologies.  If you deal with it as an IT professional, we cover it.

Recognizing a need for a local networking and computer professional user group, professionals from the Delaware Valley have united as the Philadelphia Area Network Technologies User Group, or PANTUG. The Philadelphia Area Network Technologies User Group extends membership to information systems professionals of all experience levels.

Our ambition is to:
Educate members in emerging network technology such as Windows NT, Linux, Routing, Databases, etc. via demonstrations, giveaways, and guest lecturers. Exchange knowledge and information through a structured forum of meetings. To assist members in achieving computer network-related certification.

Membership is very informal--just show up at the meetings and/or join the mailing lists.
